Up for Auction is this great dryland quarter of farmground in Lane County Ks. You have great access to it on Turkey Red Rd coming all the way from Highway 96 with just a short jog on Co Rd 20 one mile east to get to it. This quarter has no waste acres and is all currently being farmed. This field is primarly Richfield-Ulysses silt loam soils with the remainder being Grigston Silt Loam & Penden-Kim clay loams. With a Soil NCCPI score of 64.2 you will be hard pressed to find ground in this area with better soils, with the average NCCPI score in the area being 58.5! The south section of this field is currently planted to winter wheat and the new owner will get the sellers 1/3 share of the winter wheat crop, and possession of these acres occurring after the wheat is harvested. The other two sections of the field are in wheat stubble on the north section and milo stalks on the center section, both will have possession at closing.
